50 Ferraris

September 8- 11, 2022

Benefitting Make-A-Wish

Presenting Sponsor

The FOG RALLY is much more than just a road rally. It is the signature annual event of the greater Bay Area Ferrari community providing participants and supporters, sponsors and donors the opportunity to celebrate a shared passion for Ferraris, motorsports and the open road while making a difference in our community. As the flagship event of the Ferrari Owners Charitable Foundation, the FOG RALLY has generated over $2.3M in donations for organizations* helping under-served children and their families in just its first ten years

FOG RALLY 2022 will jointly benefit: Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area marking the eighth consecutive year of our charity partnership; and, the FOCF’s Fund for Kids which will provide grants to local organizations directly helping under-served children and their families.

Over the past seven years, we have raised $1.95M for Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area and another $50,000 for other chapters in California. Together that represents a total donation of $2M, making possible 200 wishes for children suffering critical illnesses. With your help, we look forward to adding to this total this year!

FOCF’s Fund for Kids will build on our success from last year in supporting a range of organizations making a positive impact on kids across the Bay Area. We will continue to our support for Bay Area Crisis Nursery, East Palo Alto Kids Foundation, htm.elle, and Larkin Street Youth Services. And we will expand the fund’s portfolio to provide grants to additional organizations selected by the FOCF Board from organizations nominated by Rally drivers, participants, and sponsors in the coming months!

*These organizations include: Bay Area Crisis Nursery, Blue Planet Network, East Palo Alto Kids Foundation, Edgewood Center for Children and Families, htm.elle, Larkin Street Youth Services, Napa Valley New Deal, Opportunity Impact (now Collective Impact), Make-A-Wish Northeastern & Central California and Northern Nevada, Make-A-Wish Tri-Counties and, most notably, Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area.

Now in its eleventh year, the FOG RALLY has become synonymous with community and camaraderie, excitement and opportunity, charity and giving back.

Harnessing the automotive spectacle of 50 Ferraris traveling across the state’s most iconic roads and landmarks, the Rally brings together over 100 participants and 25 sponsors each year to raise funds to help make a difference in the lives of children.

FOG RALLY 2022 will take place September 8 – 11 and travel from the Bay Area to South Lake Tahoe.

This year the Rally is also a celebration of Ferrari’s 75th anniversary. This iconic automobile and the passions it generates are what brought our community together first in 2011 and continues year after year.

On Thursday, September 8th, the Rally kicks off with the Launch Party and fundraiser at the historic Presidio in San Francisco. The next morning, Friday, September 9th, the Ferraris adorned in their Rally livery, will depart from the Presidio and make their way on a carefully selected route to the gorgeous Edgewood Tahoe Resort on the shores of stunning Lake Tahoe. The Rally will continue with a weekend of events and activities in the Tahoe basin, culminating in a farewell breakfast on Sunday, September 11th.

One month later the final event of the Rally, the Wrap Party, takes place. Participants and Sponsors will come together to share their Rally experiences, participate in the donation check presentation to our charity partners and hear from them about the impact of our donation. It’s the perfect end to the everyone’s Rally experience.

FOCF Fund for Kids

To celebrate our 10th anniversary and a decade of making a difference for kids, Ferrari Owners Charitable Foundation has established the FOCF Fund for Kids to make grants to charitable organizations in the Greater Bay Area providing services which have a direct and immediate impact to help kids in need.

This year FOCF’s Fund for Kids will support programs in these organizations who received grants in 2021 as all as additional organizations which will be selected by the FOCF Board from charities nominated by Rally drivers, participants, and sponsors in the coming months.

BACN’s ultimate goal is that all children are safe, healthy, and thrive both emotionally and physically. Their mission is simple, yet powerful: prevent child abuse and neglect through providing supportive services to families. And their purpose is clear: provide a safe, nurturing environment, supporting families who are mitigating difficult situations.

All BACN services are free, voluntary, and confidential. It is the only place that provides short-term residential care and emergency childcare services to give parents time to focus on resolving a crisis or stressful situation. Knowing their children are safe, parents can make better use of other services to mitigate issues causing stress in the family. This proactive approach reaches children before abuse occurs.

The Bay Area Crisis Nursery is a magical place!

East Palo Alto Kids Foundation (or EPAK for short) was founded on the belief that geography is destiny and all children should have access to the best education. It is a community-based organization that gives grants directly to teachers working in schools in underfunded neighborhoods in East Palo Alto. And, as a result, students in these neighborhoods can have the same opportunities as children in neighboring- and better funded – communities.

Founded in 1993, EPAK is an all-volunteer organization with a record of granting over 93% of funds raised directly to teachers in the 13 eastern Menlo Park and East Palo Alto public and charter schools we serve. To-date they have funded more than 5,000 teacher-led projects.

As a result of our 2021 grant, EPAK was able to provide books, field trips, science equipment and more to an additional 40+ classrooms in the 12 schools that we serve, which benefitted up to 1,200 students in just one year.

htm.elle (pronounced like it’s spelled)

htm.elle (“htm.l”) is a new organization founded on the belief that by teaching girls how to be innovative problem solvers through computer science, you are teaching them to be the future leaders of the world. What’s important to htm.elle is that they don’t teach these young women how to work for someone else’s dream, they teach them how to be the executive of their own dream.

htm.elle sparks students’ interests, cultivates their creative abilities, and provides opportunities to apply future-now skills. These young women join an exclusive educational community that equips them to see the connections between culture, technology, math, science and entrepreneurship to act as ‘solutionaries’ for an evolving social and professional landscape.

As a result of our 2021 grant, htm.elle will have access to essential facilities and classroom equipment and supplies. And ensure students have safe transportation to in-person sessions and field trips, workshops and community events throughout the year.

Larkin Street Youth Service has a very bold vision: to end youth homelessness by making it rare, brief and one time. This inspiring vision is enabled by its mission to create a continuum of services that inspires youth to move beyond the street.  And, in turn, this mission is delivered through programs designed to nurture potential, promote dignity and support bold steps by all.

Founded in 1984, LSYS has helped over 75,000 young adults in San Francisco by providing a robust continuum of healthcare, housing, employment, and education services. All of these services are tailored to meet young people where they’re at, making LSYS programs easy to get into and hard to fall out of, with the ultimate goal of helping young people develop the knowledge and skills needed for independent adulthood.

Larkin Street Youth Services helps eliminate barriers so you people can flourish!
